RIP Soupy Sales

If you were fortune enough to live in the late 50’s, early 60’s. you might have seen the Soupy Sales Show on tv after school. To put this show in perspective, think of a toned down version of SNL for kids. He was the first celebrity I ever met as a child and he was and is a legend. Many who remember the show fondly are subtly changed by it. My memories of this show are nostalgic, sure. But Soupy had a presence that he reserved for the youngest audience. Here are but a couple of modest examples.
