Beantown Spool

In March, my wife and I were in our first outdoor craft show sponsered by PAVA (Pinellas Association of Visual Artists). It was a real nice day and we met great artists. I also learned some valuable lessons. Don’t show outdoors in the Florida summer. Have an attractive setup. I sold 1 piece that day. It was Beantown shown here in all his glory.  Spools are small, so detail is not a problem. It is what I do. Blank space is the enemy. We want eye candy. These are the smallest of my portable artwork. they can be stacked like totems or threaded to make an awesome necklace. Art is where you find it. The more unusual the canvas, the more fun it is to paint, at least for me.
