Tijuana Flats

About 2 months ago, my daughter Margaret introduced me to a Mexican restaurant I had never been to before. The restaurant is called Tijuana Flats and was created originally by a college student with a dream. The restaurant is cool and the food is hot! Living in New Mexico and then again later in southern California does tweak one’s taste buds to the spicy side. I was impressed. Not a whole lotta restaurants around Tampa that can make a decent burritio(At least not as delicious as the one’s I remember in Hermosa Beach at El Terasco). They have a hot bar that includes one sauce so hot, you must sign a waiver first. That’s a place willing to take a chance and I like it. I discovered they have art contests every once in a while. They give the interested parties a ceiling tile to paint. The winner gets $50.00 and a bottle of hot sauce of their choice. I entered and as usual for me, I didn’t win. I did get and still enjoy my bottle of hot sauce and the manager did tell me it was close. So if you go to the Largo Florida Tijuana Flats, look up by the TV in the back and you will see this masterpiece.TF
